Network connection
You need to connect the printer to your wireless network before you can install
drivers on your computers.
Prepare by calling up the configuration page for your wireless router and
switching on the OfficeJet.
Make sure
- Your wireless network is not hidden
- Your router has DHCP enabled
- Push the button "Setup" on the OfficeJet's panel
- Navigate to menu item 8 "Network setup"
- Hit OK
- Navigate to menu item 4 "Network assistant"
- Wait for the OfficeJet to detect your network (make sure it's not hidden!)
- Select your wireless network from the list
- Enter your wireless network password
via the numerical keypad on the OfficeJet's panel
- Wait for the printer to connect to the network
From the configuration page of your wireless router, find out the IP address
assigned to the OfficeJet and note it down.
