You can now modprobe ttusb-dec
. This should cause the DEC2000 to reboot, the picture
to disappear and reactions to remote control button presses to cease.
When running dmesg
, something similar to the following lines
should appear at the end:
DVB: registering new adapter (DEC2000-t). DVB: registering frontend 0:0 (TechnoTrend/Hauppauge DEC2000-t Frontend)... drivers/usb/core/usb.c: registered new driver TechnoTrend/Hauppauge DEC USB usb 4-1: USB disconnect, address 2 hub 4-0:1.0: new USB device on port 1, assigned address 3 DVB: registering new adapter (DEC2000-t). DVB: registering frontend 0:0 (TechnoTrend/Hauppauge DEC2000-t Frontend)...Hallmark of successful installation is the disconnect and subsequent reconnect of the DEC2000-t.
If you built your own channels.conf
, ``somebody else'' should now
definitely find something else to do.
